Architectural photography is a fascinating discipline that captures the beauty and complexity of buildings and expresses them in images. Saxony is a state rich in architectural history, from medieval castles and palaces to modern structures.

A year in review of an architectural photographer. In 2022, I traveled with Hasselblad to the Alps, to the Expo Dubai, and with Adina Hotels across Germany.

With a special perspective on the column garden of the Sächsische Aufbaubank, I have now even won the Drone Talent Award in the Architecture category. The competition from 2,500 drone pilots was fierce, and the top spots were hard-fought. That makes me all the more pleased that my picture was able to prevail against such good competitors.
