This picture is a symbol of the shipping tradition and the connection between the city of Dresden and the Elbe.

Dresden's history is closely linked to shipping, as the Elbe has always been an important trade route and connection to other cities and countries. The transportation possibilities of the Elbe contributed to the development of industry and crafts and made Dresden an important center of trade and prosperity, while shipping also played a decisive role in the cultural development of the city. Artists and writers were inspired by the Elbe and the associated activities of the shipyards and ports. The encounter with different cultures and goods from all over the world enriched artistic creation and cultural exchange in Dresden.

The shipyard in Laubegast is one of the best known and largest shipyards along the River Elbe in Dresden. With its long history, it is a symbol of the city's shipping tradition. Founded in 1856, the shipyard has developed over time and is now an important hub for boatbuilding and shipping.
The Laubegast shipyard has built an impressive variety of ships - from small river boats to larger cargo ships. It was actively involved in the reconstruction and modernization of shipping after the Second World War and plays an important role in preserving shipping traditions in Dresden.

The Metallic ultraHD photo prints are based on Fuji Crystal Pearl paper, whose special surface gives the white portions of the photo a metallic shimmer. The colors are luminous and the black density is intensified. As an ultraHD print, the resolution is doubled during printing. Lightweight and shatterproof 2 mm thick acrylic glass is used for the mounting of the photograph. The aluminum Dibond backing ensures even greater stability. In combination with the Fuji Crystal Pearl paper, your subject looks particularly vibrant and refined.
