Timmelsjoch Pass Museum at Night

An icy cold wind whips an apparently incessant blanket of clouds in front of it as I set up my tripod at 10:00 PM on the highest point of the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road. With a visibility of only a few meters, I try to imagine the Pass Museum by architect Werner Tscholl in my viewfinder. The camera is set, all settings are prepared. Now it's time to wait. Minutes pass like hours in the harsh environment of the high Alps. I slowly become restless. Will the clouds clear and reveal a unique subject? After an hour, the time has come. For a few seconds, a hole appears in the sea of fog and the Milky Way rises imposingly into the sky behind the museum. The shutter remains open for 30 seconds. The picture is in the can. The blanket of clouds closes again.

Acrylic

The Metallic ultraHD photo prints are based on Fuji Crystal Pearl paper, whose special surface gives the white portions of the photo a metallic shimmer. The colors are luminous and the black density is intensified. As an ultraHD print, the resolution is doubled during printing. Lightweight and shatterproof 2 mm thick acrylic glass is used for the mounting of the photograph. The aluminum Dibond backing ensures even greater stability. In combination with the Fuji Crystal Pearl paper, your subject looks particularly vibrant and refined.
