Sony World Photography Awards 2024 - Top 10

As an architectural photographer, I am honored to be recognized for the second time in a row at the Sony World Photography Awards. This prestigious award underscores my dedication to my photographic projects and the constant pursuit of innovative shots of the highest quality.

Top 10 in the Architecture - Professional category

I am very pleased to be among the Top 10 in the Sony World Photography Awards 2024 in the "Architecture - Professional" category. With my photo series ENLIGHTEN, consisting of eight night shots of futuristic architecture in the Alps, I convinced the jury and was selected from 400,000 submitted images. The criteria included the quality of the photographic interpretation of the theme, consistency in the visual language throughout the series, the technical quality of the shots, and the creative engagement with the subject.

The "ENLIGHTEN" series was a personal highlight for me, as I was able to combine my passion for architecture, photography, and high alpine mountaineering in this project. Through the cooperation with the camera manufacturer Hasselblad, I was able to capture my images in the best possible quality. With the new flagship camera X2D, every tiny detail can be admired in 100 megapixel resolution. This is especially true for the large-format prints that I offer in my Store for the series.

A new milestone for my work

This success marks a new milestone in my career as a photographer. Last year, I was already among the Top 10 in the Sony World Photography Awards in the "Architecture - Open" category for my drone photo of the Monte Rosa Hut. This continued recognition of my work is a great honor and encourages me in my pursuit of creative excellence.

For me, participating in the Sony World Photography Awards every year is an opportunity to put my skills to the test and develop myself as a photographer. I am grateful for the feedback from the jury and the support of my colleagues and friends in the industry.
